NurtureUp is a web application designed to connect parents with professional service providers specializing in pregnancy and postpartum care. It was developed by CNSible Solutions, using a React/Redux front-end and a ShareTribe backend, and was delivered from wireframe design to completion in under 12 months. This platform serves both individual founders and organizations interested in creating online marketplaces.

The application provides a range of services, including access to birthworkers, postpartum doulas, lactation consultants, and newborn care specialists. It aims to improve maternal and postpartum outcomes by offering a dependable and high-quality care network. Service providers can use the platform to find clients, while parents receive the necessary support to manage the challenges of new parenthood.

The founder of NurtureUp was motivated by personal experiences of finding inadequate care during the early stages of motherhood and while working as a postpartum doula. Recognizing a gap in the market for such services, the platform was developed to offer streamlined, accessible solutions for both care-seeking parents and service providers.

NurtureUp addresses significant issues in the U.S. maternal care system, such as high rates of breastfeeding difficulties, improper car seat installation, and postpartum depression, by bridging these gaps. The platform ensures that parents and newborns across the United States receive the support they need for a healthier and more secure start to life.
